Animation studies including character design, modelling, unwrapping UV map, texturing, rigging 3D characters for use in animation in Maya.
Characters were created by applying twelve principles of animation throughout the process. It is quad-based modelling that creates a clean and more efficient to amend topology, it also subdivides well to shape or predict the model creation or objects. It was created from a single cube. Completed model, was then mapped out for texturing through cutting the model clothing seams or model edges for the purpose of texture mapping or shading on the surfaces.
All 3D animation and layout are created with Maya 2019. Adobe Illustrator for model concept development. After Effects and Quicktime for image sequence and video.
Animating four seconds each for a walk, idle and run cycles in Maya.
Primary character 3D modelling as below were designed and created as quad-based modelling. Unwrapped a UV map for the character textures. The controllers were created for skeletal rigs, and weight painting the character for movements. Animating and rendering.
